Life as I know it...

Life is tough, it’s unfair. But, life’s beautiful, it’s worth all the pain, and you should know how to enjoy every moment of it. Things might go wrong, people might change, people might lie to you, but then everything happens for a reason, a good reason. Things go wrong so that you can realize their importance, people’s priorities change so that you can learn to let go, and they lie to you so that you’re careful to trust people the next time and you can judge them more accurately.

Eventually, people are gonna take undue advantage of you, and are gonna hurt you, really bad, you’ll lose faith in everything and feel like the most helpless person on this earth, but you got to fight and bring back life on track, back to normal. And always remember, it’s all for the good, you can at least make out that who’s fake and who’s not, you can make out that who’s a true friend and who’s not. It might not be easy at that time, but you’ll be okay. And things will start to fall in place.

Everybody has bad times, problems and difficulties in life, but that doesn’t mean you give up, you should always keep trying, and one day, things will be just the way you want them to be. And one thing, NEVER EVER HAVE REGRETS, because at that point of time, that was all you wanted to do, and that was what you thought is right. Later, you may find out that you made a mistake, but then it’s human to make mistakes and you learn with every mistake you do. And it’s a part of life, so it doesn’t matter. I’ve learnt that the worst times can bring out the best in you; they can tell you how strong you are, and you can fight for what you want or love.

Sometimes you may feel that your world is falling apart, everything’s going wrong, and you’ve lost the people whom you thought you never would. But can you change people or the way they think? No. So, why to cry over something that’s done, instead just learn to let go, learn to move on, because that’s the best you can do, right? And once you’ve moved on, you’re happier and you realize what mistakes you’ve made in the past, but it helped you grow, so don’t feel bad or anything. And remember, you don’t need to worry about the people in your past, there’s a reason they’re not with you today, maybe they didn’t deserve you.

But looking at the positive side of this, you realize that there are some people who actually care for you and will always be beside you, who will fight for you, and never betray you. And don’t cry that it happened, smile that it’s over. At the end of the day, friendship ain’t about hanging out together, clicking pictures, bitching about people and telling others you’re friends, it’s about being there, actually, when you need each other, when you need someone to help you solve a problem, when you need someone to help you make it through, when you need someone to comfort you, to wipe away your tears and tell you that things will be okay, someone who’ll not only be there with you to enjoy your happy days, but will be there for you on rainy days. These people are your true friends, and trust me, it’s better to have a few true friends, rather than having 100 fake friends.

Life’s too short to be sad or depressed about people who don’t even care about you. Instead, cherish whatever you have, and enjoy with the people you have, and make the most of it. Live like it’s the end of the world and no matter what you lose never lose that smile on your face =]

And if I sum up whatever I’ve learnt about life, I can do that in three words- IT GOES ON…
