Okay so my dad came to pick me up from school and he told be that Osama Bin Laden was no more. He was shot dead by the American commandos. We don't celebrate deaths, we mourn, we cry, we wish for them to come back, but this time, it was different. Everyone was rejoicing his death. Everyone was happy, so relieved. And so was I. It's not good to be happy over someone's death because no matter who it is, whether good or bad, some family is broken, But then he was a heartless man who left thousands of families devastated after the 9/11 attacks. So many children became orphans, so many women widows and so many men widowers. I've always said no matter what you do, how much effort you put in trying to escape, in the end, You will get what you truly deserve. Justice delayed is not justice denied. After almost 10 years, USA has proven why they are called the Superpower. And finally, the world's most wanted mass murderer has been caught and shot dead. The devil who was behind shattering thousands of people was now no more.
That man was not only an embarrassment to his community, but also his country, who refused to take his body. That man has given so much misery and well he got all of it back. He had to, one day.
When this news broke, I'm sure every American citizen felt justice was met. They felt a sense of victory. The wounds of the 9/11 attacks are still fresh. People haven't forgotten it, they never will. There is as much as hatred and agony as there was then. But now, people have taken their revenge.
Yesterday has been a VERY significant day in history. Obama has become Superman overnight. :P
Cheers to Obama. Cheers to 2nd May. Cheers to Humanity. :)
